All food served meets or exceeds USDA nutritional requirements. Menus for each meal and snack are posted for parents to review weekly. If your child is on a special diet, you will be expected to provide us with a letter from your doctor listing what the child cannot have.

Fine Arts Family Preschool participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program which assists us in serving nutritious meals and snacks to your child.

Discipline

In accordance with "Wisconsin Rules for Licensing Family Day Care", punishment that is humiliating or frightening to a child is prohibited. These forms of punishment will never be used.

Children will be taught with positive redirection, positive reinforcement and encouraged to participate in problem solving. Children will be encouraged to take pride in developing socially appropriate behavior. Clear limits on behavior will be set by talking with children about what kind of behaviors are not allowed at the preschool and what alternatives to unacceptable behaviors are. Discipline will be for the purpose of helping children to develop self-control, self-esteem and respect for the rights of others.

Provider is responsible for compliance of license requirement that information about children and their families be kept confidential.
